The reception office of the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Nice, headed by Iryna Podyryako-Bourdelles, has been officially inaugurated.
The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Ukraine to France Vadym Omelchenko, Mayor of Nice Eric Ciotti, Secretary General of the Alpes-Maritimes Prefecture Patrick Amoussou-Adéblé, Deputy Mayor of Cannes Thomas de Pariente, as well as partners and friends of the Ukrainian community.
The new office aims to strengthen French-Ukrainian relations, support the Ukrainian community, and promote joint cultural, economic and social initiatives.
Special thanks are extended to the BOARD NICE business community for providing the premises for the reception office.
Today, nearly 15,000 Ukrainians live in the Alpes-Maritimes department. The Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Nice will continue its work to support Ukrainians and foster cooperation between Ukraine and France.
