Powers and Functions of the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Nice
- Protecting the interests of Ukrainian citizens and legal entities in France within the limits defined by international law.
- Promoting the development of trade, economic, cultural, and scientific relations between Ukraine and France, as well as fostering friendly relations between the two states, including:
- Promoting the interests of Ukrainian producers in the French Republic and facilitating French investments in Ukraine;
- Organizing economic events such as business forums, roundtables, and similar activities;
- Supporting the participation of Ukrainian scientific, expert, and business delegations in seminars, conferences, exhibitions, and facilitating exchanges between business delegations of both countries in various sectors;
- Assisting in the organization and implementation of social and humanitarian projects;
- Supporting the preparation and implementation of image-building events organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in France;
- Organizing and conducting cultural and artistic events in France, supporting exhibitions of Ukrainian artists and other cultural and informational activities aimed at preserving and promoting Ukrainian culture in France;
- Assisting the Embassy of Ukraine in France in organizing events to celebrate Ukraine’s national holidays, including the relevant protocol activities.
- Providing assistance and support to Ukrainian citizens and legal entities within the scope of the Honorary Consul’s competence.
